Faschings-Party

On of the German traditions that I am not sure of whether or not I love them is Fasching. You could maybe compare it to Halloween, even though it is still a lot different.

Starting on 11/11 every year, carneval-clubs start to have events going on where everybody has to get dressed up and they do a more or less funny programme after which people can dance or do whatsoever they want to do while wearing a clowns-costume etc. ...

Anyway, I don't enjoy the official parties that much, mainly because I don't agree with many things that are going on there which can be kinda weird and too German for me...

But every year we do a party for the kids at our house and this is the most fun day ever. We play games such as "Blinde Kuh" and sing songs, dance etc. ... The kids really enjoy that day and I do too...

We just dress up and act weird! The perfect party for me... I can actually be myself... hihi
